John Potter Wins Legacy Award
Wild Spirit Gallery congratulates John Potter for winning the Legacy Award for his painting, "Valley of Chiefs" at this year's Western Rendezvous of Art. As far as it is known, this is the first time a guest artist has received this award. "The Rendezvous Legacy Award is a purchase prize presented annually by the Montana Historical Society Museum. The award is conferred upon the painting or sculpture that best reflects the Society's ongoing effort to preserve the best of today's art for tomorrow's citizens. Each year, the winning artwork is added to the Museum's permanent collection."
